We will down Kotoko on Friday – Tetteh

Inter Allies goalkeeper Theophilus Tetteh is confident that his side will secure its first away win at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on Friday, when the club faces Asante Kotoko on match day 4 of the FCP Premier League.

Tetteh, who is currently serving as the club’s chaplain due to his enrolment at the Good News Theological Seminary in Accra, told footy-ghana.com that the players are highly determined to make amends on Friday, after playing a goalless draw with Liberty Professionals on Sunday in Tema.

"I am so confident that we will be able to claim all the three points at Kumasi this Friday. We were very worried concerning the last game we played against Liberty Professionals. We were supposed to claim all the points but we lost two and had only one, and we are very determined to claim the three points against Asante Kotoko.’’

Tetteh, who motivates his teammates with the Word of God before and after games, told footy-ghana.com that even though both sides know each other well from matches played last season, he is confident that Inter Allies can nick all three points.

"When you look at our previous games with Asante Kotoko, you can see that the two teams really know each other. We played three matches last season. We lost the first one, we beat them at their home ground and we lost to them in the MTN FA Cup final. It is a crucial match. The players are very determined to claim the points on Friday.’’
