Duncan wants Lokko as assistant at Kotoko

David Duncan has lined up Tony Lokko as his assistant should he land the Asante Kotoko coaching job, MTNFootball.com has exclusively reported.

Lokko has been without a club since leaving Ghana Premier League side Berekum Chelsea at the end of last season.

He qualified Tema-based Amidaus Professionals to the Ghana Premier League and handled them on their debut season in the top-flight.

Duncan is the frontrunner to be named Kotoko coach following the club’s decision to ask head coach Mas-Ud Dramani to proceed on leave after a poor run of results.

But the board and management have been unable to confirm his appointment since the coaching position became vacant three weeks ago.
