Wakaso pays glowing tribute to his late son

Black stars midfielder Mubarak Wakaso has paid a glowing tribute to his late son who died exactly a year ago.

The infant named Junior Wakaso died at the age of 1 after a short illness at their resident in Tamale of the Northern Region.

The Celtic player who is currently with the Black Stars preparing for the upcoming international friendlies against Senegal and Mali wrote on his Instagram page how he wishes his son was alive.

He wrote “R.I.P. son. Was a lovely night for me because my little angel visited you and you will forever remain my angel #junior #dream #loveyouforever #GODreason RIP”
