Awudu Adama to return to football as coach

Former Hearts of Oak forward Awudu Adama is planning on returning to the game that gave him fame and wealth as a coach this year.

Adama a former Power FC, Dawu and Hearts of Oak forward saw his career halted due to a chronic knee injury.

Hailing from the Brong Ahafo region of Ghana the forward made a name for himself with his powerful left foot and bulky structure striking fear into opposing defenders.

Adama’s highest point as a footballer came in the 2002 Ghana Premier League season when he scored 14 goals to become the second highest goal scorer on the domestic scene behind Ishmael Addo.

“I will return to the game and I am thinking of going into coaching so I am working on that,” Adama told GHANAsoccernet.com

“My team mate is Mas-Ud Dramani and he inspires me so I will take up the job and see how it goes for me.”
