The vision of OBE TV is to provide entertaining and informative programmes to stimulate and inspire its audiences and to tap into the vibrant talents of ethnic minorities. OBE TV is incredibly popular amongst the Black communities in the UK. In 2006 Black Viewers in the UK voted OBE (Original Black Entertainment) as the second channel they cannot live without. As such OBE TV scored higher than Sky Sports, MTV Base, BBC and ITV. The channel features 24 hours per day of Original Black Entertainment (OBE) through satellite in the UK and now through the Internet worldwide.
