Farmer bites off nose of a purchasing clerk
Asamankese, March 11, GNA - Samuel Nyarko, a farmer, who bit the nose of a purchasing clerk, during a fight, resulting in the victim undergoing a plastic surgery, was on Thursday convicted to a fine of GHC 840 by the Asamankese Circuit Court.Nyarko, who pleaded not guilty, was also ordered by the Judge, Mr Emmanuel Siameh, to pay a compensation of GHC 500 to Frank Agbede, the victim, whose nose was bitten- off.
In default, Nyarko, who also faced a charge of intentionally and unlawful causing harm, would go to prison for nine months.
