About hundred polling officials and electoral officers are expected to supervise the National Delegates Conference of the ruling New Patriotic Party ongoing in Koforidua.

Kasapa News visit at the Eastern Regional Office of the Electoral Commission saw the electoral officers being briefed about today’s exercise with advise to ensure free,fair and credible election.

The Head of Communication at EC, Eric Kofi Dzakpasu told Kasapa News, the Commission is ready to supervise the election.

He said 12 polling stations will be used to facilitate the voting process which he says will be supervised by about 100 electoral officials.

He assured supporters of the various candidates of credible polls.

The governing New Patriotic Party(NPP) is holding its National Delegates in Koforidua, in the Eastern Region.

At least 6000 delegates will go the polls later today to elect new national executives to steer the affairs of the party for the next four years.

The National Delegate’s Conference is being held in pursuant to Article 10 (2) and (3) of the NPP constitution.
