A 15-year-old girl, Constance Kisbour Mensah, who was reported missing for close to two weeks, has been found.

She was located on August 9, 2024, near the Kasoa station with a woman who was allegedly accommodating her, as reported by adomonline.com. The woman fled when Constance's relatives approached her.

Constance was seen by a cadet trainer who subsequently informed her school authorities and the police about her location, in an attempt to verify her claims that she is a school dropout.

She was taken to the police station. Although she initially refused to cooperate with CID officials, she later confided in a senior CID officer about her reasons for leaving home.

According to Constance, she was persuaded by a classmate and her relative to travel to their hometown for a festival. The classmate’s relatives allegedly asked Constance to keep the trip a secret; hence, she packed only a few belongings and left home without permission. Unfortunately, the planned trip did not materialize. Fearing punishment, she wandered for days before being taken in by the woman, who exploited her for her thrift business.

She has since been reunited with her parents while the police investigation into the incident continues.

Constance went missing in Kasoa Buduburam on July 28, 2024, after she was punished for coming home late after trimming her hair.
