Tawiah Akwetey, a 19-year-old driver’s mate, and Felix Osakonor, also 19, have been arrested by the Asesewa police for allegedly stealing the government’s rlg laptops given to Anyaboani D/A Primary School at Asesewa, the capital of the Upper Manya Krobo district of the Eastern Region.

The Asesewa District Police Commander, Supt. Stephen Kofi Ahiatafu, speaking to DAILY GUIDE, said the suspects were four but two are currently on the run.

He said the suspects stormed the school at 5:00 am on Monday, broke into the ICT library and made away with the items.

The police officer disclosed that the headmaster of the school, Emmanuel Tawiah Nartey, came to report that the suspects had taken away five rlg laptops, three Dell chargers, one Dell USB keyboard, one mouse, one flash drive, one external hard drive and one Android charger.
