The entire roof of a storey building at Teshie, a suburb of Accra, reportedly collapsed during the rainstorm on Wednesday, May 22, 2024.
According to a report by myjoyonline.com, the falling roof trapped two young men who narrowly escaped death.
The report indicated that the roof fell from a building near the St. Anne Catholic Church at Teshie, which was nearing completion.
It added that the roof was dislodged as a result of the strong winds that preceded the heavy downpour.
Personnel from the Ghana Police Service and the National Ghana Fire Service were on the scene of the incident to help address the situation.
Visuals from the scene shared by the media house show the collapsed roof atop several vehicles on the road.
