Communications Team member of the National Democratic Congress [NDC], Dela Edem, has described members of the New Patriotic Party [NPP] as "greedy" politicians who have developed two [2] stomachs, four [4] hands and four [4] legs, scrambling to have their finger in every pie.

Speaking on UTV’s ‘Adekye Nsroma’ discussion segment, he called on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to engage stakeholders involved in using the new Integrated Customs Information UNI-PASS system to correct every bottle-necks and would-be anomaly.

Dela Edem, insisted that the government of the day could have adopted a more amenable approach prior to the introduction of the UNI-PASS system, since it is a new model.

“...President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo should put aside shame, hypocrisy for not appropriately handling the UNI-PASS system by their inability to engage every meaningful stakeholder before rolling it out. Actually, government should not expect every stake-holder to at once welcome the new system when it could likely cause them their daily bread,” he stated.
