Ghanaians will do everything possible to shoot down policies and programs that may come from Members of Parliament (MPs) if they do not benefit from them, private legal practitioner, Ace Annan Ankomah has said.

“Cut your coat according to our clothes…We will determine the clothes”, he stated as majority of Ghanaians have kicked against a move by the MPs to construct a new parliamentary chamber to aid their work

“When the Executives felt they have outlived the Castle, they put Jubilee House. The judiciary has new Supreme Court and beautiful High Courts. So why the opposition to this one [new Chamber]?”, Lawyer Ace Annan Akomah quizzed.

“Ghanaians have questions and maybe if they appreciate what you are doing, they will appreciate why you need offices”, he pointed out on news analysis programmed Newsfile monitored my MyNewsGh.com

According to the Public Interest Advocate, Ghanaians currently do not appreciate the work of their MPs hence, a united decision to kick against plans by Parliament to establish a new parliamentary chamber which aims to make their work easier

“I am suggesting to Parliament that there is a disconnection between you and us. There is a disconnection you are not identifying”, Lawyer Ace Ankomah stated.
