Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has cast his ballot in the ongoing election at the DA Primary School in Walewale, his hometown in the North East Region.
Speaking to the media after voting, Dr. Bawumia expressed optimism about winning the election, citing the party's hard work and well-received message.
He's hopeful that the NPP will emerge victorious, and lead Ghana after the 2024 elections.
“By the grace of God, I am very hopeful of winning this election. I think that we have done a lot of work; we have put our message to the people, and I think that the message has been well received, I believe that by the grace of God when all the ballots are counted, the NPP, myself, and our parliamentary candidates will emerge victorious,” he said.
