The Chamber of Bullion Traders Ghana(CBTG) has issued a statement to congratulate President Elect H.E John Dramani Mahama for his thumping victory in the 2024 Presidential elections.

In the statement by the Chamber which comprises of Small Scale Miners and Gold Exporters, it expressed its joy in welcoming H.E John Dramani Mahama back again into office as the Commander-In-Chief to steer the affairs of the nation.

The Chamber was quite optimistic that the incoming government of the National Democratic Congress under the leadership of H.E John Mahama could make a positive impact in the gold trade industry.

It also indicated the Chamber’s preparedness to help the new government in restructuring the Small Scale Mining and gold export activities in the country.

It emphasized that on that basis as stated above, they are very hopeful of a collaborative working relationship with the incoming government which they believe will promote a sustainable and congruous working environment to the benefit of both the country and stakeholders in the gold industry.

“Once again, we say congratulations to you Mr. President and we assure you of our full support as far as the Chamber and mining sector is concerned”, the Chamber pledged.
