Counting at polling stations have concluded following the closure of polls at 5 p.m. What is left is the declaration of results at constituency collation centres.
The 2024 elections were conducted across 276 constituencies nationwide, with the process being largely peaceful.
However, isolated incidents of violence have been reported, including the confirmation of two deaths in the Tolon Constituency in the Northern Region and Awutu Senya East Constituency in the Central Region.
The Electoral Commission has urged Ghanaians and political parties to exercise patience as it fulfills its mandate of delivering a successful election.
