2024 Elections: Mahama has nothing to offer - Kokofu

Former Chief Executive Officer of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Henry Kwabena Kokofu, has called out the lies of former President John Dramani Mahama regarding his promises to Ghanaians.

The former president seeks to come back into power on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress.

He contends with the presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and in the hope of winning the December 7 polls, promises Ghanaians developmental projects that he would undertake if elected President again.

He outlines his 24-hour economy policy which, to him, is one of the most transformative initiatives he will implement to better the lives of Ghanaians.

But Henry Kokofu has advised Ghanaians against believing in John Mahama.

He recounted some unfulfilled promises of the former President, listing a promise by the latter to establish a National Theatre in Kumasi, Ashanti Region.

Speaking on Peace FM's "Kokrokoo" show, Mr. Kokofu stated that Mahama's theatre promise dates back to 2013 and to this date has failed to honor this promise to the people of Ashanti Region.

He reminded Ghanaians that Mahama is no new person when it comes to failing them.

"We know you very well. This is the same old Mahama...There is no way his deceptions and unfulfilled promises can make Ghanaians vote for him again," he said.
