Prophet Paul Kusi Appiah, popularly known as the Warrior-Prophet the founder and leader of Nyametease Ampa Prayer Ministry in Kumasi, has stated that should Mavis Hawa Koomson, the Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya East Constituency, lose her seat, he will retire as a pastor.

Speaking in an interview on Movement TV on August 2, 2024, he stated that Hawa Koomson, who also serves as the Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture Development, would only lose her seat through New Patriotic Party (NPP) primaries in 2028.

Prophet Appiah also expressed optimism about the NPP's prospects in the upcoming 2024 elections, predicting that the party will secure more seats.

"Everybody should note that if anyone manages to unseat Hawa Koomson, I will quit the work of God, I visited the central region, and I can confidently say that nobody can unseat her. It will be very difficult unless it happens during the NPP primaries in eight years' time, the NPP will win more of the seats” he said.
