The General Secretary for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Fifi Kwetey, has told members of the political party that the 2024 elections is not about the NDC and the NPP.

Rather, it is about the people who love Ghana against the people who do not love the country called Ghana.

He is of the view that many of the people in the New Patriotic Party who want their party saved and the country rescued must vote massively to support the agenda of removing NPP.

“If NPP doesn’t lose the election, we are making them feel that you can hurt the people of Ghana and still win an election. If that happens, this country is gone,” he said.

"We know the level of destruction that has happened and we know President Mahama who is going to win with your support will not have an easy job. But John Mahama s coming from a great tradition from the founder of Ghana Dr Kwame Nkrumah, John Mahama is influenced by Jerry John Rawlings, who took the country from near collapse but built it.

"John Dramani Mahama is taking over from Atta Mills who took the country at a time of difficulty in 2009, John Dramani Mahama comes from a Tradition that knows how to solve problems. He’s coming from a party that takes Ghana out of problems and sets it out for victory,” he said.

Fifi Kwetey acknowledged that removing the NPP won’t be easy because they know they will be punished, and because of that, they are going to steal the election but he urged members of the party to work with an eagle eye to ensure that the collation of results, among others, will be quality to ensure that they win the 2024 election.
