Controversial musician and a former sympathizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Kwame Obeng Asare, otherwise known as A Plus has accused 23 lawmakers of the Central of sleeping on their jobs while the region lacks a common CT scan.
According to him, sick people who need to be scanned are transferred to Accra amidst challenges to access this facility.
He mentioned that the sickening part of the plight of the people of the Central Region is the fact that, sick people are made to sign an agreement not blaming the hospital for their death in case they are not able to make it due to the bumpy road from Central Region to Accra.
He made this known in a post on his social media platform saying “
Before you go to bed, remember that the whole central region of Ghana which has 23 MP who drive 23 V8s does not have a CT scan. A Patient in critical condition who needs a scan is transported to Accra in an ambulance. Before a patient is transported, the family is made to sign that, should the patient die while being transported to Accra due to the bumpy nature of the roads, they won’t be held responsible. Goodnight!!”
