Agona Swedru (C/R), June 29, GNA - Mr Guy B. L. Sillo, Agona District Co-ordinating Director has assured investors of the Assembly's full backing, adding that, their monies would never go waste.

The Co-ordinating Director was full of praise for the "one man's vision", which he said was in line with government's policy on "private sector development" and called on the public to give maximum patronage to this investment.

Mr Sillo described Swedru as "an entry point to tourism" in the Central Region, adding that, provision of such hotels as habitat for travellers and strangers was worthy of emulation and commendation. Mr Amoasi Andoh, an executive member and consultant at Ghana Decent Work Pilot Programme (GDWPG), who chaired the function called for hard work, discipline and honesty among the staff of the hotel.

Mr Andoh was hopeful that the sweat and toil of Mr Abraham Atto Arhinful, 46, Managing Director of the hotel, in investing in this to harbour and protect life, would yield good dividend.

He said this investment could be described as a pilot programme towards eradication of poverty and creation of employment, and hoped the district authorities would help him to create money to enable him honour his tax obligations.

Mr Arhinful said the three billion Naatoa Hotel, has 23 air-conditioned bedrooms, a 45 sitting capacity conference hall, a distributing depot for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and other modern hotel facilities.
