Kyiren Nkwanta (C/R), Aug 1, GNA- The people of Gomoa-Kyiren and Gomoa Adam have been provided with a three-classroom block with an office and store at a cost of 250 million cedis. It was funded by the Ghana-Government-European Union (EU) Joint Development Corporation. The inhabitants supported the project with communal labour.
The assembly member for area, Mr. Kwesi Sam said this in an interview with Ghana News Agency at Kyrian Nkwanta on Friday. He commended the Gomoa District Assembly for effective monitoring and supervision of the project. Mr. Sam said the school would also serve children from nearby communities. He also praised leasers of Gomoa Kyrian youth association residing in Accra for effectively soliciting assistance from an non-government organization (NGO), which is currently assisting in the construction of a 20-seater KVIP for the town.
