Three persons have been arrested in connection with logging of rosewood inside the Mole National Park in the Savannah Region.
The three were arrested by the anti-poaching team of the park following a tip-off.
The suspects are in the custody of the Damongo divisional police in the Savannah Region.
The Mole National Park is the biggest National Park in West Africa that houses many species of wildlife.
There is a ban on rosewood logging in the Savannah Region with a nine-member committee formed by the Savannah Regional Coordinating Council led by regional minister tasked to go into the causes and possible solutions to end the menace in the region.
