Cutlass wounds were found on parts of his body.

An eyewitness Ibrahim Salifu narrating the incident to Abusua FM’s Osei Kwadwo blamed armed robbers for killing the deceased.

“My house is near where the incident happened. I woke up around 8am this morning and I saw someone lying in my plantain farm near the roadside. I decided to find out why he was lying there and I realized that he has been attacked by unknown assailants,” he narrated.

Ibrahim added that the Asuofua police came to the scene but they couldn’t convey the body to the morgue saying they lacked a vehicle.

The wife of deceased told the police that she stays at Edwira while her husband is a phone repairer at Sofoline in Kumasi.
