A leading figure in the Movement for Change (M4C), otherwise known as the Afrafranto Alliance, Hopeson Adorye, has predicted that the governing New Patriotic Party will face defeat in the pending elections.

Speaking in a recent interview on Onua TV, he stated that based on his experience in politics, he can tell if a political party is headed for defeat or victory.

"I have learnt some practical lessons in politics. I can confidently say that I understand certain things when it comes to politics. When change is coming, you can see it. You know I have been in politics for a while now to tell if defeat is imminent for a party. When the change is coming, you see it. You can tell if people are pretending and if they are being real with you; you can also tell. If you don't study these things, you will be at a loss," he stated.

Hopeson Adorye asserted that the Presidential Candidate for the Alliance for Revolutionary Change (ARC), Alan Kyerematen, holds the solution to breaking Ghana’s long-standing political duopoly.

"Three days ago, I was on a flight to Kumasi. When we reached our destination, everybody on the flight wanted to shake my hands. They told me they support Alan's presidential bid. I can tell that most people in Ghana are afraid of intimidation. For the NPP, they will be very miserable in opposition. Things will be difficult for them when they go into opposition," he stated.

Alan Kyerematen has launched a Great Transformational Plan (GTP), a blueprint for economic transformation that outlines robust policy prescriptions and practical steps aimed at building an enterprise economy.

He also plans to build a prosperous, united, and peaceful country that provides equal opportunities for all, particularly young people, women, and other vulnerable groups, to realise their full potential and improve their livelihoods and general wellbeing if elected into office.
