President Akufo-Addo has made a lot of appointments since the New Patriotic Party won power in 2016.

?However, certain stalwarts of the party have been left out, and will definitely be aggrieved about that.

YEN.com.gh has a compilation of five NPP stalwarts who are still waiting to be given appointments.

1. KT Hammond

Member of Parliament for Adansi Asokwa, Kobina Tahir (KT) Hammond has been with the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) for a very long time now. ?

The Legislator reportedly rejected the chance to be named chairman of Ghana Gas, after being nominated by the president for the position.

?However, it is believed that Mr. Hammond is patiently waiting to be appointed to a bigger position after staying almost a year without any governmental appointment.

2. Richard Anane

Dr. Winfred Anane has served in various capacities for the NPP, and was particularly influential during the president Kufuor-administration.

?He was once the minister for Roads and Highways as well as the minister for Health, but is yet to be given an appointment following Akufo-Addo’s victory in the 2016 elections.

Dr. Anane has been mostly critical of the Nana Addo government, and it is believed that that is the main reason why he hasn’t been given any appointment yet.

3. Justice Joe Appiah

Justice Joe Appiah is also one NPP stalwart who is patiently waiting on President Akufo-Addo to hand him an appointment. ?

The former MP recently hit out at the president for not including him in his appointees so far, and feels he has been neglected after working tirelessly to get the party back into power.

In October, he sarcastically claimed that he was willing to sweep the Flagstaff House just to get a job.

4. Kwabena Agyepong

Suspended General Secretary of the NPP, Kwabena Agyapong has also been overlooked so far for a governmental appointment.

The Civil Engineer became an outcast in the party after he was suspected to be in bed with the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the lead up to the 2016 elections. ?

However, with sections of the NPP’s supporters recently calling for his reinstatement, a position for him might soon come.

In February, reports surfaced that President Akufo-Addo had wanted to appoint him to one of the top positions, but the move was kicked against by some bigwigs in the NPP.

5. Sammy Crabbe

Sammy Crabbe has served as the second vice chairman of the NPP, but has seen his role reduced after going to war with the party hierarchy.?

It is believed that had it not been for his rebellious nature he will have an appointment by now.
