67 Days to Go: 18 unfulfilled promises by President Akufo-Addo according to Kpebu

Martin Kpebu, a private legal practitioner, has refreshed the memories of Ghanaians on what he says are 18 unfulfilled promises of the current government.

Speaking on Newsfile on JoyNews, Martin Kpebu said, “Let me mention some of the notable things Akufo-Addo said which today he has not lived up to and he thinks we have forgotten. He needs a quick reminder that this thing has to stop."

Below are the things Martin Kpebu listed as the unfulfilled promises:

1. I shall protect the public purse

2. I am too old to steal your money. “Now he has become very rich as a result of coming to office,” Martin Kpebu stated.

3. Ye te sika so nso ekom de yen, to wit, we are sitting on money but we are hungry.

4. Try me and see

5. I am not corrupt and will never be corrupt. “Na lie!” Martin Kpebu exclaimed.

6. I can develop Ghana without borrowing money from anywhere, the money is here.

7. I will transform Ghana in 18 months

8. I will not operate family and friends’ government. “Na lie,” Martin Kpebu said.

9. I will fight corruption with the Anas Principle. “Is that true?” he questioned.

10. I will make the Korle Lagoon and Odaw River a tourist site

11. I will build a factory in every district

12. I will give each constituency 1 million every year

13. I will arrest the dollar. “The dollar has arrested him,” he said.

14. The hike in fuel prices will be a thing of the past

15. I will make Accra the cleanest city in Africa

16. I will build 111 hospitals

17. I will build 35O secondary schools

18. We will never go to the IMF for a bailout
