The National Democratic Congress (NDC) government has for the past eight years provided 740 health facilities for the people of the Brong Ahafo Region, Vice President Kwesi Bekoe Amissah-Arthur has said in a tweet.
We have increased the number of health facilities in the Brong Ahafo Region from 266 (Dec. 2008) to 740 as of now.

This, he said, is an increase on the 266 health posts in the region as of 2008, when the New Patriotic Party (NPP) government was exiting office.
As part of late President John Evans Atta Mills’ development plan for the country, christened ‘Better Ghana Agenda’, the Vice President said several parts of the country, including Brong Ahafo were expected to see massive improvement in all sectors of the economy including health.
