Eight people have died and 42 injured in an accident on the Mim - Goaso road in the Ahafo Region.
A bus belonging to Infixwood Limited transporting over 50 workers on Friday around 5 a.m, crashed into a timber truck.
Information gathered indicates that the driver of the bus attempted to overtake the timber truck and unfortunately ended up veering into it due to smoke from the truck which interfered with his vision.
Pictures shared by EDHUB on social media platform X, show the front part of the bus severely damaged due to the strong impact of the crash.
The injured persons were taken to Goaso Municipal Hospital, and those in critical condition were sent to nearby hospitals.
