Ghanaians have 87 days left to cast their votes to elect new Members of Parliament, and a new president of Ghana.

For the sake of votes, politicians engage in some activities like dinning with electorates, helping with house chore and others, which, in themselves, are not bad things.

The only downsides to these is that they are not things these politicians do on a regular day.

There have been past occasions where politicians, including President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, were captured engaging in some of these activities publicly.

GhanaWeb has gathered some of the very recent examples by some politicians as they go around their constituencies to campaign.

It is worth noting that the preparation of banku was the most common activity that these politicians engaged in, with three out of the five politicians captioned.

Here they are:

Lydia Seyram Alhassan, Member of Parliament and the Parliamentary Candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency, was captured in a viral video eating with a shoemaker on the street.

She was also captured happily having conversations with different people on the streets.

Minister for Fisheries and Aquaculture Development, and NPP Parliamentary Candidate for Awutu Senya East, Mavis Hawa Koomson was captured hawking watermelon on the streets.

National Democratic Congress (NDC) MP for Akwatia Constituency, Henry Boakye Yiadom, was seen in video preparing banku.

He also made time to pound fufu and help in the braiding of hair of a woman during a house-to house campaign.

MCE for Lower Manya Krobo Municipality and New Patriotic Party MP for Lower Manya Krobo Constituency, Simon Kwahu Tetteh, was captured folding the clothes of constituents and also helping to prepare banku.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Parliamentary Candidate for Asokwa, Amoh Kamel, was captured in a viral video helping constituents fry meat, prepare banku and unbraid hair.
