Ghanaian musician Kwame Asare Obeng popularly known as Kwame A Plus has descended heavily on social media trolls over a viral picture of Kofi Amoabeng.

The photo which was released by Mr Amoabeng on his Instagram page, May 12, 2020, got trolls mocking the former co-founder of the collapsed UT Bank.

He captioned the photo, "COVID-19 look after lockdown," followed by a smiley emoji.

The photo has since caused heated divided conversations on social media with some attributing his current look to age, while others think, it is a reflection of his current financial status.

However, jumping to the defense of Mr Amoabeng, the 'Aben Be Bom' hitmaker questioned the trolls about their financial status.

"Just because someone decides not to shave means he is broke? Even if he is broke are you rich? Have you ever been rich?"

He reiterated that, a broke Kofi Amoabeng is richer than the fathers of these trolls on social media.

"A broke Kofi Amoabeng is richer than you and your father father father father," he wrote on his Facebook page.

On February 5, 2020, it was reported that an Accra Circuit Court dropped all charges against the former boss of UT Bank.

ASP Emmanuel Nyamekye who is the Police Prosecutor told the Circuit Court Judge, Emmanuel Essandoh, that the State intended to file a fresh case against Mr Amoabeng at the High Court.

This development meant that the trail of Amoabeng at the Circuit Court was no longer necessary.

Judge Emmanuel Essandoh, obliged and discharged the accused person forthwith.
