Renowned Ghanaian broadcast journalist, Kwami Sefa Kayi has narrated how he once received a prophecy that he would be the president of Ghana in the near future.
He said this during a recent discussion on Accra-based Peace FM, where he expressed frustration with prophets who make inaccurate predictions.
The journalist recounted a prophecy where he was told by a young prophet that he would become the youngest president of Ghana.
“One of them prophesied that I would become the youngest president of Ghana. Not knowing that, at the time he made that prophecy, I was already older than the youngest president in Ghana’s history,” he said amid laughter.
"These prophecies are annoying," he added.
He agreed that these actions could have negative implications such as spreading “fear and panic” among the populace and urged prophets to pray for peace in the upcoming elections instead.
