The structure is located at Nakpayili, Nanumba South District, in the Northern Region of Ghana.

According to YEN.com.gh sources, the building was among the first 50 schools built as part of the 200 community Day Schools built by the NDC government

It is reported that the transformer was removed by the contractor who was in charge of the project due to the inability of the government to pay them.

According to sources, it is believed that the contract was awarded to Chief Azorka, the second vice chair of the NDC.
