The National Vice Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Comrade Abanga Yakubu Alhassan is expected to act as the interim National Chairman, as Johnson Asiedu Nketiah departs for the USA.
He is part of the official delegation led by the Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. ASK Bagbin, to the United States of America.
The delegation will be participating in a program organized by the National Council for State Legislators.
Chairman Asiedu Nketiah is expected to be away until August 12, 2024. During his absence, the National Vice Chairman, Comrade Abanga Yakubu Alhassan, will assume the role of acting Chairman of the NDC.
The announcement was made in Accra by Kakra Essamuah, Esq., the Director of Communications for the NDC. The visit is seen as a significant opportunity for strengthening international legislative ties and enhancing the NDC's engagement on the global stage.
This participation underscores the NDC's commitment to fostering international cooperation and sharing legislative experiences with counterparts in the United States.
