Former Central Regional Chairman of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Bernard Allotey Jacobs, has revealed the names of leading members of the party who were calling for his dismissal from the communication team of the party during their time in government.

According to him, when late President John Evans Atta Mills was in office, Member of Parliament for North Tongu constituency, Samuel Okudjeto Ablakwa, Dr. Edward Omane Boamah and Felix Kwakye Ofosu requested that he be removed from the communication team.

He said those members went to late Professor for him to remove him from the communication team which then President Mills informed him later.

"Others also went there in the night to request same and the Professor declined," he added.

He made this disclosure while bemoaning the level of insults from some 'babies with sharp teeths' within the opposition NDC.

Allotey Jacobs who now describes himself as a Social Commentator said attempts to get him off radio and television discussions will not succeed because he doesn't speak for the opposition NDC party.

"They felt NDC takes me to radio and TV programs so they insult me whenever I make comments on social media. My coming on the radio is not in the hands of NDC. I don’t speak for them. They think my destiny is in the hands of a party and not God," he jabbed.
