Ablekuma North Delegats going for Nana Akufo Addo

Majority of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) delegates in the Ablekuma North constituency in the Greater Accra region have resolved to ensure that Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo is elected as the 2016 presidential candidate of the party.
To this end, the delegates have come together to form a group, ‘Aboterewura’ For President ( AFOP) to rally massive support to aid the presidential ambition of Nana Akufo Addo.
This was declared by the Chairman of AFOP,Mr John Agbotey, at a press conference organized by the group at Odorkor in Accra.
The goal of AFOP is to ensure a landslide victory for Nana Addo. Thus, AFOP would mobilize and rally all the constituency delegates in support of Nana Addo ahead of the delegates’ congress slated for October 18, 2014.
Mr Agbotey explained that the decision to support Nana Addo was based on the belief in his transformational leadership vision to make Ghana an industrialized country, make the economy export driven and agro-based as well his desire to empower Ghanaian people, especially the youth, through quality education.
According to Mr. John Agbotey , the exemplary leadership qualities and statesmanship demonstrated by Nana Addo makes him the most suitable person to lead the NPP in a bid to regain power from the incompetent NDC government.
“He is our ultimate choice as his popularity keeps increasing tremendously by the day,” Mr Agbotey added.
Mr Agbotey asserted that the outcome of the August 31 2014, super delegates’ conference reflected the massive endorsement of the topmost leadership of the party, and emphasized that the delegates’ congress in October provides the opportunity for the party grassroots to do same.
“It is our time as the grassroots of the party to do what the ordinary Ghanaian is asking for, and that is to bring back Nana for victory 2016,” Mr. Agbotey declared.
