The ceremony, which formed part of the silver jubilee and the decade celebration of the 1985 and 2000 year groups, was to formally induct the year group executives and officially launch the year groups. He called on old students in Ghana and in the Diaspora to contact the leaders of the various year groups for more information on arrangements for the celebration. A speech and prize giving day, career and motivational conference, home coming, dinner dance and fund raising would ceremonies would be organised as part of the celebration.
