The fun and safety associated with rail transport will bounce back when work on the Accra-Tema railway lines is completed by August this year.
The project will ease the burden on the large number of passengers who commute daily between Tema and Accra.
The Managing Director of the Ghana Railways Company (GRC), Mr Emmanuel Opoku, told the paper that the project was being financed by the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) at the cost of US$5 million while the Government of Ghana was providing US$2.5 million.
