Accra, March 22, GNA - The GSE-All Share Index, the key stock gauge, ended stronger on Wednesday by 96.15 points on the back of impressive gains by 10 equities on the bourse. The index closed at 5,535.98 points up from the previous level of 5,439.83 points recorded on Monday.
Traded volumes rose to close at 447,500 shares as against 332,600 shares posted on Monday.
In the broader market, Trust Bank Limited made 1,500 cedis at 16,000 cedis, Ghana Commercial Bank finished higher by 100 cedis at 15,100 cedis, Aluworks, the only aluminum company on the Exchange went up by 1,000 cedis at 8,500 cedis and British American Tobacco (BAT) 50 cedis at 6,450 cedis.
Cocoa Processing Company gained nine cedis at 1,030 cedis, Guinness Ghana Limited was up 850 cedis at 9,360 cedis Home Finance Company 45 cedis at 8,800 cedis.
Mechanical Lloyd Company continued its run making 130 cedis to end at 1,390 cedis, SSB Bank made two cedis at 25,032 cedis and Unilever 300 cedis at 18,000 cedis.
Market capitalisation went up to 17,624.47 billion cedis from 17,381.61 billion cedis on Monday.
