The 2013 annual international men’s conference to re-energize, build and create dynamism among men is slated for July 15 to 21, the Reverend Edward Randolph-Koranteng, Banking and Organisation Development Consultant stated in Accra on Thursday.

He said the conference was to challenge and change the negative stereotype perceptions of men in Africa so that they could be used as vessels to fulfill the Great Commission of Jesus Christ.

In an interview with the Ghana News Agency in Accra on Thursday, Rev. Randolph-Koranteng said in these challenging times it was expected of men to offer quality leadership in the domains of their operations. The conference is being organised by Men of Vision and Evangelism (MOVE) of the Harvest International Ministries to position and equip men to develop their God-given potentials and abilities for a successful living. The week-long activities on the theme: “The Prudent Man,” include men encounter with seasoned inspirational speaker Uncle Ebo White on July 16; and lecture on July 17 by Rev. There would also be a special theatre performance on a typical Christian home-solving family problem - father, mother, youth by Harvest International Ministry.

Rev Randolph-Koranteng said the activities would be laced with a mini football competition, kid’s playground - moving train, bouncing castle, and live Christian band as well as men’s kitchen to provide lots of free food on July 20.

Rev. Randolph-Koranteng said a specialthanksgiving service on Sunday, July 21 at north Tesano headquarters of the church would crowned the activities. He said the Men’s Conference 2013, “…is the answer for our city and nation…a movement of men fully engaged in the pursuit of Christ. We are in this with everything we have”.
