Flagbearer for the Convention Peoples Party (CPP), Nana Akosua Frimpongmaa Kumankumah, has urged the Electoral Commission to ensure that concerns expressed by various stakeholders are attended to.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is calling for a forensic audit of the provisional voter register and the IT systems of the Electoral Commission.

The opposition political party has announced that it will be demonstrating on September 17, 2024, across the country to drum home the need for the EC to listen and allow a forensic audit of their system and the voters register.

However, the EC has insisted that they are up to the task ahead and do not need a forensic audit of their systems.

Filing her nomination at the EC’s headquarters, Nana Frimpongmaa noticed that grievances were being expressed and urged the EC to pay a listening ear to them to ensure that they are all addressed.

“As we enter the 2024 elections, I want to trust that all the concerns that has been expressed, we will find a way, an amicable way to resolve it so that there will be more confidence in the process as we move further,” she said.

She urged believers in Nkrumah to rally behind her to ensure that the beliefs of their founding fathers would be implemented to make life better for the people of Ghana.
