Agyemang FOR branch organniser

Fellow Kukrudites,

As the NPP-UK prepares for the general elections to select the next Branch Executive members this year, may I humbly suggest that we take the issue of setting up our own Radio Station similar to Oman FM in Ghana on board.

If certain Ghanaian individuals in the UK have been able to break through in this area, why can't do the same in view of the expertise at our disposal?

Folks, I'll be contesting the position of Organiser of NPP-UK this year and this noble idea would be part of my agenda to make the NPP-UK more vibrant not only in the diaspora but Ghana as well.

When such a radio station is established, the Branch party could save a lot of money that goes into other private radio stations. We can also choose the topics that are relevant to the party's cause. The station could also act as a major source of income to the party.

Even though I'm aware of the principal cost for such a project, I don't think this is beyond the reach of the numerous NPP members and sympathisers in the diaspora. For instance, we can go for Internet-based radio at the beginning which is quite cheaper than the others. I hope the Communication experts on this forum could help in this direction when the time comes.

It is also my fervent hope that other Branches in the Disapora would take this onboar so that we take control of all Communications which is a major strategy of winning general elections and maintaining political power.

What us your take in this? What us your take in this?
