Agyinasare: I raised a woman from the dead

Bishop Agyin Asare Bishop Agyin Asare

Bishop Charles Agyinasare has said he once raised a woman from death in Koforidua, Eastern Region.

“…They carried a dead person to my platform on a crusade, and I had been bragging on (sic) the name of Jesus and then they put this person on the platform…and suddenly something must happen.

“I tell this lady to get up, and she didn’t get up; and then the Holy Spirit said: ‘The water you are drinking, that you have drunk, just give it to her to drink.’

“I give it to her to drink and suddenly she jumps up,” the founder of Perez Chapel International told Bola Ray on Starr Chat on Wednesday, October 21, 2015.

Bishop Agyinasare, who leads a healing ministry, also recounted how he, through the anointing of God, worked other miracles.

He recounted, for example, how the anointing of God caused him to straighten the “twisted” body of a woman during a crusade at Ibadan, Nigeria, as well as caused the same woman, who “crawled on her hands and feet,” to walk.

In India, also, Bishop Agyinasare said the Holy Spirit directed him to heal a lame man in crutches, who had gone under the knife for 15 times, but could still not walk.

“The anointing, when it comes on you, is able to do incredible things,” he told Bola Ray, explaining: “Because when the anointing comes on you, you become another man…suddenly you are energised...there are times I’ll be so weak and the anointing will hit me and the weakness is gone.”

He, however, noted that: “When it comes to the healing anointing, you don’t have it all the time.”

The Christian Bible teaches in John 11, 1-44, of how Jesus Christ raised a dead man named Lazarus, brother of Mary and Martha, in Bethany. “Lazarus, come out!” Jesus, who described himself as “the resurrection and the life,” shouted at the entrance of the tomb, where the corpse had been buried for four days. “The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face. Jesus said to them, “Take off the grave clothes and let him go.””
