Nana Akuffo Addo is a disaster to Ghana’s political environment-New
York NDC DECLARES

As the race of who becomes the next president in 2012 elections
heightens, the New York Branch of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is calling
on Nana Akuffo Addo and members of New Patriotic Party (NPP) to rally behind
President Mills in the 2012 elections.
The branch said Ghana needs a leader who can unite the people
and move the developmental agenda forward and not a leader who has the potential
of dividing the country on tribal lines.
‘’Nana Addo must not be taken seriously. Somebody who goes to
stand on the podium and preaches ‘all die be die’ trying to convince the
unsuspecting electorates to die for him to be president, and you want such a
man to be president? No way’’ the NDC branch said
According to the New York branch of the NDC it will be a
political disaster if Akuffo Addo is elected president of Ghana.

T
he chairman of the New York NDC branch Bismarck Agbemenule
tells Radio Gold in Manhattan that, the leaked U.S cables information about
Nana Addo is revealing enough to enlighten Ghanaians about the negative
credentials of the leader of the NPP. He pointed out that a leader who preaches
all die be die is not fit to be president.

‘’Somebody who can divide the people on tribal lines is not
it to be the president of Kwame Nkrumah Ghana’’ Bismark said.

He pointed out that though the NDC would not win the 2012 elections on a silver
platter there is the need for all the Akatamansonians to rally behind the
president to succeed and make the elections a mere formality.
‘’If you do not want a womaniser, a drug user and an arrogant
person as contained in the wiki leaks to be president then there is the need
for unity now’’ He said.

He argued that the leader of the NPP is a disaster to
Ghanaians and hat members of the NPP were aware of his attitude but were hoodwinked
into believing that he had what it takes to win the 2012 polls.

The former Greater Accra regional youth organiser of the NDC
challenged the leadership of the party to work hard at uniting the font of the
party and also win members of the NPP into their fold.

He appealed to the founder and his wife Mr. and Mrs. Rawlings
and all who aren’t happy with the president to bury their differences and
support President Mills to retire Nana Akuffo Addo in 2012.
He commended President Mills for the good work so far and
urged him to do even more.

‘’the international community is talking about growth in
Ghana, we in the Diaspora are happy with the character and determination of the
president to make Ghana a better place, we are really proud of our President’’.
He said.

He quizzed ‘’who will you vote for an arrogant leader or a
peaceful one, a womaniser or a man of integrity, a drug user or a God fearing
man? Your question should be as good as mine’’. Bismarck said.
