Space FM, Tuobodom -Â The NPP presidential candidate, Nana Akufo Addo, has reiterated that no government can develop Ghana better than the NPP and therefore urged the electorate to retain the party in the December elections. He said the NPP has undertaken a lot of development projects in the last eight years and would continue doing so if given the mandate in the December general elections.
Nana Akufo Addo said this at separate mini-rallies in the Techiman municipality as part of his seven-day tour of the Brong-Ahafo region. He used the occasion to introduce Professor Ameyaw Akumfi and Prince Donyina, the party’s parliamentary candidates for the Techiman North and South respectively.
The NPP flagbearer urged supporters of the party to avoid confrontations with their opponents to sustain the current peaceful atmosphere in the country which is necessary for a successful election.
Nana Akufo Addo assured the people of Offuman and Tuobodom, both in Techiman that the road linking the two towns has been captured for construction to enhance socio-economic activities in the area. He also gave the assurance that government would continue subsidizing fertilizer to ease the burden on farmers who have sustained the country’s economy since independence.
Mr. Kwabena Agyapong, a former presidential spokesperson, urged the people never to give power to the NDC because they mismanaged the country when they were in office.
