After Free SHS & Free NHIS, Would Desperate
Akufo-Addo Promise Free Wee & Cocaine?
History has a very interesting way of repeating itself, and indeed, history is repeating itself as far as Akufo-Addo’s desperate and extravagant desire for power “at all cost” continues unabated.
In 2008, while the NDC’s Professor John Evans Atta Mills was humbly selling his ‘Better Ghana agenda’, and reaching out to the hearts of Ghanaians with his “I Care For You” fatherly message, the NPP’s Nana Akufo-Addo was hijacking the airwaves by promising to bring heaven to Ghana.
Thinking that Ghanaians are unintelligent, Akufo-Addo kept making unrealistic promises.
It would be recalled that Akufo-Addo had even promised that if given the mandate, he would commit $1billion to SADA.
Nana Addo also promised to commit $1billion to MUSIGA.
Akufo-Addo also promised to commit $1billion to support so many other groups and initiatives.
Indeed, in those days, all one had to do, was to approach Akufo-Addo, and he was quick to pledge $1billion.
As to where he was going to get the funds from, Akufo-Addo never told Ghanaians.
Akufo-Addo’s $1billion promises became such a farce to the extent that, in certain circles, it was rumoured that he had pledged $1billion to support the smoking of wee and the sniffing of cocaine.
Four years down the line, Akufo-Addo has obviously not learnt any lessons, and has once again decided to go on a rollercoaster ride, promising all kinds of things.
This time around, Akufo-Addo is no longer promising to support every venture with $1billlion.
This time, Akufo-Addo has discovered the word “FREE”, and is now promising FREE everything.
With no solid message, and once again believing that Ghanaians do not have a sophisticated mindset, Akufo-Addo is once again throwing dust into the eyes of Ghanaians.
Akufo-Addo claims that in the unlikely event that he becomes President of Kwame Nkrumah’s Ghana, he will implement a FREE SHS Policy.
We have been asking Akufo-Addo to explain in detail what he means by FREE SHS, and up till now, the “evil dwarf” has not been able to give Ghanaians any sensible explanation.
Indeed, the NPP communicators themselves are so confused that they are all giving different interpretations to the FREE SHS “toli”.
Indeed, between Akufo-Addo, Professor Gyan Baffuor, and Nana Akomea, the stories are miles apart.
While Akufo-Addo is talking about Free SHS for one year, Gyan Baffuor is talking about free education for one term.
As for Nana Akomea, he is completely clueless as regards the details of the policy.
In the case of Ms. Elizabeth Ohene, she completely soiled her pants last week on Asempa FM, when she came out of hibernation to attempt to do propaganda for Akufo-Addo as regards the FREE SHS fairytale.
Ms. Ohene was a big embarrassment with her incoherent argument and watery logic.
Is Akufo-Addo saying that every aspect of SHS would be absolutely free? Are we to believe that everything would be free?
Is Akufo-Addo telling us that, mattresses, trunks, chop boxes, bed sheets, pillows, blankets, toothpaste, sardines, milk, soap, “shitor”, etc, will all be free?
Is that what Akufo-Addo is telling us?
Does Akufo-Addo think that Ghanaians are fools to swallow this gargantuan “toli” hook, line, and sinker?
So for our young girls who will be menstruating; is Akufo-Addo saying that they will be provided with free sanitary pads?
If this is what Akufo-Addo is promising, then The Informer will devote all our time and energy to support Akufo-Addo to become President.
Unfortunately, Akufo-Addo cannot provide 100% Free Education so he must come out and tell us what he means by FREE SHS.
Moving his desperation to higher heights, Akufo-Addo has decided to introduce anther FREE policy.
This time, Akufo-Addo is promising FREE NHIS.
Yes, the NPP flagbearer has said that he will introduce a new FREE NHIS policy.
Honestly, does Akufo-Addo really think that he is making any impact on the voting conscience of Ghanaians, with his “FREE EVERYTHING” message?
Just as in the case of the FREE SHS promise, Nana Akufo-Addo is not giving Ghanaians any mathematical analysis of how he intends to manage the NHIS with a FREE policy.
Considering the heightened nature of Akufo-Addo’s desperation, it would not be surprising to hear Akufo-Addo promise to introduce a FREE WEE & FREE COCAINE policy, if he gets the nod to become President of Kwame Nkrumah’s Ghana.
Having been strongly linked to hard drugs, and unable to deny it, it would not be surprising that in his desperate attempt to become President, Akufo-Addo would make a move to appeal to drug addicts.
And the only way to appeal to drug addicts is to promise to provide them with free drugs.
With the NPP’s unenviable record of being a Narcotics Peddlers Party, and with lots of drug addicts and barons in Akuffo-Addo’s inner circles, it may not be too difficult for Akufo-Addo to send word round to the junkies that under his unlikely presidency, wee, cocaine, heroine, and other hard drugs, will be free.
The NPP Flagbearer must know that Ghanaians are very wise and discerning and can see through his desperate attempt to become President at all cost, and so making all kinds of unrealistic promises.
If Akufo-Addo wants to become President of Ghana, he must begin to respect the intelligence of Ghanaians; until then, he will continue to dream of becoming President but will never get the nod because the good people of Ghana are wise enough to differentiate between honest and dishonest politicians.
