The New Patriotic Party ()NPP administration’s spokesperson on security and governance, Dr. Palgrave Boakye Danquah, has lauded President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, describing him as one of the most outstanding and effective leaders in Ghana's Fourth Republic.

He commended Akufo-Addo for what he described as strong leadership and significant contributions to Ghana’s development, particularly identifying the president's ‘firm governance style’.

“I’m commending my president; today is a day of commendation. President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has done extremely well for me. I consider him one of the most notable leaders in this Fourth Republic. He's been a very firm leader during this Ninth Parliament,” Palgrave said during a discussion on TV3 on January 6, 2025.

Palgrave also discussed the dynamics of parliamentary politics, warning the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), which holds a majority in Parliament, against complacency.

"Roland, we don’t want the NDC majority to take their overwhelming majority for granted. We’ve seen such majorities before with the NPP. And so, we clearly understand the Ghanaian people, they can swing to the left and swing to the right," he cautioned.
