National Organiser for the opposition National Democratic Congress says president Akufo-Addo has in the last six months been taking credit for the ‘good works’ of his predecessor, John Dramani Mahama.
According to Kofi Adams, President Akufo-Addo has not done anything extraordinary since his election as president in the December 2016 polls.
Kofi Adams was speaking to host of Abusua Nkommo, Kwame Adinkra in reaction to the president’s submissions at yesterday’s media engagement by president Akufo-Addo to account for his six months stewardship.
Adams says, “the president churned out factual inaccuracies and I am not surprised his own cousin who is also the finance minister issued a statement to expose the president over some misinformation about our debt stock.”
"Also, the president is priding himself with the Gender Champion award he received from the Africa Union, that award came to Ghana as a result of some projects former president Mahama undertook and unfortunately the award was released at a time when he is no more the president,” he revealed.
Kofi Adams has meanwhile challenged the president and his appointees to enumerate concrete achievements in the last six months.
