President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Tuesday mourned with the Chiefs and people of Drobo over the death of Drobohene Beyeeman Bosea Gyinantwi IV.
The President and his entourage which included the Brong Ahafo Regional Minister, Kwaku Asomah-Cheremeh, the MP for Jaman South, Afful Yaw Maama, the Minister of Employment, Ignatius Baffour Awuah, Hon Prof Ameyaw Akumfi and the MCE of Jaman South; who filed past the remains of the late chief donated GH¢20,000 and assorted items including drinks to the Drobo Traditional Council towards the funeral celebration of the late chief.
The national house of chiefs will be present on Thursday while Nananom continue to sit in state on Saturday and Sunday for final burial.
This is, however, a burial rite with organizers confirming to MyNewsGH.com that a new chief will be installed next week and the final funeral rites will be determined.
Beyeeman Gyinantwi, known in private life as Major Jonathan Asiedu-Taku (Rtd) was a former military officer and was enstooled as Paramount chief of the area in 1981 following the passing away of Nana Adinkrah Kosopre III.
