“This government is a ‘try and luck’ government. They’ve nothing good to offer this country. They are leveraging on Mahama’s ideas and policies".
These were the words of Ashanti Regional Communications Officer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Nurudeen Abass.
In his submission on Angel Fm’s flagship program ‘Angel in the Morning’ hosted by Kwame Tanko, he stated that almost every idea brought out by the former President, John Mahama is stolen by the NPP which ‘makes it difficult to tell whether they are short of ideas’.
“The NPP government is a try and luck government, they lack ideas to rule this nation. They immediately abolished luxury tax when Mahama spoke on abolishing the tax when elected.
"As if that was not enough; when he promised free Technical and Vocational Education (TVET) the NPP said oh! we’ll upgrade TVET soon. What kind of clueless government is?
“I’m not sure this is what Ghanaians voted for. We deserve better governance, not this ‘ma try ma kwe’ sort of governance,” he added.
