Akufo-Addo's 94% win "is not normal" - Ohene Ntow

Nana Ohene Ntow, the Head of Alan Kyerematen’s Campaign Team has stated that the 94% of votes polled by Nana Akufo-Addo in the just ended flagbearership contest in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) is not normal.

Speaking on Okay FM, Nana Ohene Ntow was of the conviction that it is abnormal for anyone to poll as much as 90% in any elections and the results of the Presidential Candidate contest of his party is very astonishing.

“It is not normal for anyone to win more that 90% in any election. I am very astonished,” he revealed.

He made this disclosure after Nana Akufo-Addo secured 117, 413 votes representing 94.35% as against 1,128 votes signifying 0.91% by Francis Addai Nimoh and 5,908 making 4.75% of the total votes cast by Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen.

Nana Ohene Ntow, who is a former General Secretary of the NPP also called on the party to take pains to analyze the elections, in order to correct all the mistakes that occurred so as to help the movement to rally around the flagbearer for the presidential contest in 2016 more successful.
